GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore forward Enzo Dovlo and redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Seth Wilson of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team earned The Southern Conference (SoCon) Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the league announced Tuesday.

Dovlo led the charge offensively for UNCG last week, scoring three goals on three shots in two matches. The Strasbourg, France, native scored twice in the 32nd and 74th minutes of the season opener to lead UNCG to a 3-0 victory over USC Upstate. Then on Sunday, Dovlo scored the first and only goal of the match by burying a shot in the fourth minute to give the Spartans a 1-0 win over Coastal Carolina.

Dovlo, a member of the SoCon All-Freshman team a season ago, was also named honorable mention for TopDrawerSoccer's Men's Team of the Week on Tuesday.

"I am very happy to receive this distinction from the SoCon as well as the honorable mention for TopDrawerSoccer," Dovlo said. "But I am even happier about the first two victories. This group is special, and with hard work, I'm sure we can achieve more."

On the other end of the pitch, Wilson was brilliant during week one in goal for the Spartans, logging back-to-back clean sheets to open his first season with the Spartans. Hailing from Frisco, Texas, Wilson turned aside three shots in Thursday's season opener before adding two more in the one-goal decision against Coastal Carolina on Sunday.

Wilson, who is in his first season at UNCG, now has a career total of four shutouts outright in six matches played. He has only allowed one goal against in his college career.

"I'm really proud of the team and the two results we have gotten so far," said Wilson. "Getting back-to-back clean sheets is a product of the intensity we bring to games and training. I couldn't do it without the guys in front of me."

This marks the first SoCon Player of the Week honor for both student-athletes.
