HIGH POINT, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team earned a 12-10 non-conference victory over the High Point Panthers on Tuesday night at Williard Stadium.

UNCG was quick to answer in the sixth, piling on three more runs with an RBI double by Trey Truitt before Wight launched a two-run homer out to right. It gave the Spartans the lead for the first time since the second inning, 11-9.
High Point cut the deficit to one, 11-10, during the bottom half of the sixth when Christian Smith drove in Brayden Simpson on a sacrifice fly.
