Round Three of NCAA Regionals to be Concluded Wednesday
AMHERST, Va. – Colin Dutton of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team was able to play two holes of the third round of the NCAA Amherst Regional on Tuesday in Amherst, Virginia, at Poplar Grove Golf Course, before play was stopped due to weather.
Previously slated for one round each day, the NCAA Amherst Regional began on Sunday and is scheduled to be concluded on Wednesday with the remainder of the third round.
Dutton moved up one position after starting the third round with a couple of even pars to sit in a tie for 58th place.
He concluded the first round with a three-over-par (73). Dutton posted a seven-over-par (77) with a 10-over-par (150) through the first two rounds.
Vanderbilt is pacing the 13-team leaderboard with a three-under-par (660). Jackson Van Paris of Vanderbilt is leading all players with a seven-under-par (157) behind two consecutive rounds of three-under-par (67).

Dutton will conclude the third and final round of the NCAA Amherst Regional on Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. in Amherst, Virginia, at Poplar Grove Golf Course.
The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, held from May 22-27 in Carlsbad, California, at La Costa Resort.
