GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Intercollegiate Athletics department and Taymar Sales U. are thrilled to highlight the success from the 2023-24 men's and women's basketball seasons.

"Brian Mackin and Mike Roach's forward thinking vision for UNCG Athletics has been integral in helping us lay a great foundation for success in our first year on campus," stated Joe Rickert, Taymar President. "We are proud of the impact Anthony Moore is making driving new ticket revenue and delivering first class customer service to Spartan fans across the state, and look forward to more success in the future."

UNCG and Taymar announced a ticket sales partnership in July 2023 to handle all outbound ticket sales and operations for the department's ticketed events.

"We have been grateful for this relationship with Taymar," mentioned Roach, Executive Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. "Our goals are aligned and the integration of an open, creative, and collaborative approach has benefited our department as we outreach to current and new ticket buyers."

Some highlights from the 2023-24 season, which was led by Anthony Moore, Director of Ticket Sales, include a 29-percent increase in men's basketball ticket revenue and a 105-percent increase in women's basketball.

Under the first year with Taymar, there was a 140-percent increase in group sales building new relationships among the Greensboro community. Courtside season tickets were sold out this season for men's basketball, which included four new season ticket accounts and 13 new seasons for a 19-percent increase. The first group suite was sold at the Greensboro Coliseum this season and a new mini/flex plan was successfully launched.

Among ticket operations, a frictionless student ticket claim process was implemented, leading to higher redemption rates. The UNCG ticket office engaged with season ticket holders on a regular basis through emails, phone calls, and in-person at the games.

UNCG was the fourth school from the SoCon to sign with Taymar, joining The Citadel, Samford, and Furman. UNCG is the first Taymar school in North Carolina and joins Queen City Soccer Club in Charlotte as clients in the state.
