Softball Signs Six to Team 41
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) softball team and Head Coach Janelle Breneman have signed six to the 2025-26 roster.
There are two each from North Carolina and Florida, while one comes from Virginia and one is from New York.
Marin McGowan
Hometown: Suffolk, Va.
High School: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy
Position: Pitcher/1B
Travel team: Starz Gold McGowan/Bigham
From Coach: "Marin is a dynamic pitcher with an incredibly high ceiling and a fierce competitor in the circle. Her ability to spin the ball and her commanding presence will allow her to make an immediate impact within our pitching staff. We couldn't be more excited to welcome Marin and her family into the Spartan family."

Jazmin Mejia
Hometown: Port Jervis, N.Y.
High School: Minisink Valley High School
Position: Infielder
Travel team: Unity
From Coach: "Jaz's versatility allows her to contribute both in the infield and outfield. She's a skilled athlete with a strong drive to excel. At the plate, Jaz is a tough out and a consistent offensive threat. We're excited to see the impact she'll make wearing the Blue and Gold!"

Position: Outfielder

Position: Catcher
