UNCG’s Thomson Announces Retirement
GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis Head Coach Paul Thomson announced his retirement from coaching today.
Thomson was announced head coach of the UNCG women's tennis program in February 2022 following a six-year stint at the University of Alabama-Huntsville (UAH).
Before his time at UAH, Thomson was the head coach at Drake from 2010-13 and at Brevard College for the men's and women's teams through the school's transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II.
"On behalf of UNCG Athletics, I want to thank Paul for all of his hard work," said Director of Athletics Brian Mackin. "We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
