Women’s Tennis Welcomes Gardner-Webb for Midweek Matchup

SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' BULLDOGS

  • Gardner-Webb opened its 2025 schedule at North Carolina, falling 7-0 to the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill.
  • The Runnin' Bulldogs were selected finish third in the 2025 Big South Preseason Poll.
  • Gardner-Webb competed in a total of five fall tournaments in 2024 to prepare for the 2025 spring slate.
  • The squad concluded the 2024 schedule with a 6-11 overall record and 3-2 mark in the Big South.
  • The Runnin' Bulldogs and Spartans last met for dual competition in the 2019-20 season in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, when Gardner-Webb notched a 4-3 battle over UNCG.
  • Prior to that, UNCG was on a five-match winning streak against Gardner-Webb dating back to the 2012 season.
