Track & Field Wraps Up Regular Season at The Hill City Twilight on Friday

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's track team will send Glodi Mvovi and Mason Rudel to The Hill City Twilight, hosted by the University of Lynchburg on Friday evening to conclude regular season competition.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's track team will send Glodi Mvovi and Mason Rudel to The Hill City Twilight, hosted by the University of Lynchburg on Friday evening to conclude regular season competition.
 
Meet/Facility History

  • This will be the second time that the Spartans will compete on the Dr. Jack M. Toms Track this outdoor season.  
  • The Spartans took the team to the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic from Friday, April 12 to Saturday, April 13.

LAST TIME OUT

  • UNCG ssent seven individuals to the two-day Charlotte Invitational last weekend.
  • Four of the seven posted personal best marks.
  • Samuel Barnard began UNCG's weekend with a personal best time of 1:51.93 in the 800-meter run, placing 13th out of 20 competitors.
  • All three Spartans in the 1500-meter open section on Saturday clocked in personal best times, including Khalid Abdullahi (5th place), Lane Prochaska (6th place),  Colin Keck (7th place). 

Up Next
The Spartans are set to begin postseason competition with the 2024 Southern Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Championships will take place in Birmingham, Alabama at the Shauna Yelton Field, hosted by Samford, from May 6-7.
