Hamilton & Barnard Compete at Duke Twilight
DURHAM, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's track team sent Andrew Hamilton and Samuel Barnard to the Duke Twilight on Sunday evening at Morris Williams Stadium.
Hamilton and Barnard, who both competed in the 800-meter run, finished in second and third, respectively, in heat three. Out of 34 competitors, Hamilton's time of 1:51.68 placed him 16th overall out of 34 competitors. His time was .27 off from the school record time of 1:51.41 he set last weekend at the Charlotte Invitational.
Barnard's time of 1:51.83 in the event put him in 17th place overall. His time was .33 off from his personal best time of 1:51.50 that he set last weekend at the Charlotte Invitational.
