Volleyball Releases 2024 Schedule
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball team and Head Coach Felicia Turner have announced their 2024 season schedule.
The schedule is highlighted by the Spartans hosting two tournaments in the non-conference slate, welcoming in a total of three teams each in both events. The last time the team hosted two tournaments was in the 2022 season.
"The 2024 fall schedule is finalized, and we couldn't be more excited," said Turner. "We will be starting and finishing pre-season at home this year. This will give us a great opportunity to play in front of our amazing community and fans. Our two away tournaments will take place at Elon and at Power Five foe, Virginia Tech. Both of these tournaments will be against very competitive teams and in great venues that will prepare us for conference play. The SoCon schedule is going to be an intense battle and we are counting down the days until we start competing!"

- 28 regular season matches: 14 home & 14 away.
- The Spartans will compete in one exhibition match prior to the start of the season as they welcome cross town rival N.C. A&T on Saturday, August 24 at 1 p.m. in Fleming Gym.
- UNCG will begin the 2024 season in Fleming Gym with the Spartan Classic from Friday, August 30 to Saturday, August 31.
- Two home tournaments: Spartan Classic (August 30-31) & Greensboro Classic (Sept. 20-21).
- Two road tournaments: Elon Invitational (Sept. 6-7) & Hokie Invitational (Sept. 13-14).
- Non-Conference breakdown: CAA (1), ACC (1), Horizon (2), Missouri Valley (2), Big South (1), MEAC (2), Big East (1), Sun Belt (1), Ohio Valley (1).
- The non-conference schedule will be concluded at home against Marshall on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2:00 p.m. in Fleming Gym.
- UNCG will open The Southern Conference (SoCon) schedule on the road at ETSU on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. in Johnson City, Tenn.
- The team will return home for conference action by hosting Furman on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m.
- UNCG will compete in eight home and eight away conference matches.
- The regular season will be concluded with a trip to Samford and Mercer on Nov. 15 & 16, respectfully.
- The 2024 SoCon Tournament will be held in Asheville, N.C. from November 21-24 at the Harrah's Cherokee Center.
