University Libraries Congratulates 2025 Research Award Winners

The University Libraries are pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Research Awards! There are two undergraduate winners and one graduate winner. Each winner will receive a $500 prize applied to their student account.

Mau Cabo
Insight on the Mechanical Properties of Facile Hydrophobic-Barrier-Patterned Bacterial Nanocellulose via Self-Bonding Mechanism
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Dennis LaJeunesse, Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering

We invite the campus community to celebrate the award winners on May 1 at 3 to 4 p.m. in the Martha Blakeney Hodges Reading Room, located on the second floor of Jackson Library. Light refreshments will be served. For accommodations, email rcsander@uncg.edu.
