UNCG Supports Community With Annual Toys for Joy

For several years, the campus community has come together for this joyous event, generously donating hundreds of toys, and bringing holiday cheer to these deserving children. The post UNCG Supports Community With Annual Toys for Joy appeared first on UNC Greensboro.

UNCG Chancellor Frank Gilliam and Mrs. Jacquelean Gilliam, in partnership with The Greensboro (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, invite the community to participate in the annual Toys for Joy donation drive, benefitting The Family Room Triad and foster care youth in the Greensboro area.

It will be held on Monday, December 9 from 5 – 7:30 p.m.

For several years, the campus community has come together for this joyous event, generously donating hundreds of toys, and bringing holiday cheer to these deserving children. We look forward to another successful event this year and hope to see many cars driving through that evening.

Please bring an unwrapped toy for a child aged 8 to 18 years. The drop off will commence at Administration Drive, turn onto College Avenue, and proceed to the Alumni House where volunteers will be collecting the donated toys.

If you cannot attend the drop-off on December 9, you can bring your unwrapped donation any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday, December 2 to Monday, December 9.
