Storm the Streets is an annual one-mile spirit march from the UNCG Baseball Stadium to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, to celebrate the men’s basketball home opener. Join Spiro, cheerleaders, and hundreds of your fellow Spartans to cheer on the Spartan men’s basketball team for their first home game of the season.

Important Event Information
- All students will need to bring their SpartanCards to check-in to the event
- There is a clear bag policy at the Greensboro Coliseum! You can read more about their clear bag policy here.
- Ticket Information
- To watch the basketball game, you must claim your ticket ahead of time and bring it with you to the game! You can find instructions to claim your ticket here.
- Shuttles will be available after the march and after the event to bring students back to campus
Event Schedule
- 4:30 p.m. – Spartan Tailgate at the UNCG Baseball Stadium
- Show off your Spartan Spirit and wear your best blue and gold!
- The most spirited Spartan to participate in the Spirit Contest will win a $25 gift card!
- 5:30 p.m. – Spirit March from the UNCG Baseball Stadium to the Greensboro Coliseum
- 7:00 p.m. – Men’s Basketball Game starts
