Description

Spartans Together is a peer-facilitated program that helps students meet and get to know students outside of their social group and build a stronger community on campus. Students meet in small groups over weekly 1-hour sessions throughout the semester. Students will engage in a series of thought-provoking questions and fun activities.

Through engaging discussions and actionable strategies, we aim to equip participants with the tools to become powerful advocates for change.

A healthy diet for college students is necessary to improve energy, memory and focus. Students who eat a balanced diet are less likely to get sick. Join the workshop to learn more about nutrient-rich diets, foods to avoid and ways to use your nutrition to create a more robust immune system.

Learn how to concentrate on the physical sensation of walking and paying attention to the signs and sounds of the environment. This will help calm, focus, and bring a different positive quality of attention to your movement and surroundings.

Spartan Connect Events | Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services is hosting a support group for students who struggle with disordered eating, eating disorders, and body image concerns. The group will focus on creating a space to explore authenticity and body autonomy. The group will be hosted every Thursday from 1:00-2:15pm during the 2025 spring semester. A screening appointment with the group leaders is required before joining the group. Contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 336-334-5874, to schedule a screening.
