Join us for a fun and welcoming event as we introduce our new Assistant Director of the Office of Intercultural Engagement! This is your chance to connect, get an inside look at upcoming events, and learn about exciting opportunities with The Black Collective (TBC) Ambassador program.

We’ll also unleash our creativity with custom tote painting—all materials provided! Come for the art, stay for the vibes, and leave with a tote bag that’s as bold as you are.

All are welcome! Snacks will also be provided!

Carnival is a lively celebration of Caribbean culture, bringing people together through games, music, performances, and delicious food. From 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, guests can enjoy a variety of games, dance to vibrant soca and dancehall beats, and socialize while indulging in authentic Caribbean cuisine. At 3:00 PM, the energy shifts to the main stage as performances kick off, showcasing dynamic acts that will keep the crowd entertained until 5:30 PM. The event will officially wrap up by 6:00 PM, with food trucks serving their final dishes before closing out the festivities

Students are given the opportunity to respond to the speakers. Outdoor Adventures Adopt-A-Stream

Buffalo Creek spans much of the Greensboro Metropolitan area and primarily functions as a means for channeling storm water throughout the city. Unfortunately, storm water brings unsightly and potentially contaminating debris into the creek. Outdoor Adventures is proud to take on the task of “adopting” this stream and greatly appreciates you joining us to make a difference in our community as well as communities located downstream of Guilford County!

Outdoor Adventures Standup Paddleboarding

YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THIS TRIP AT OUTDOOR ADVENTURES TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND.

Spend your Friday Afternoon paddling around one of Greensboro's local lakes. After a quick paddleboarding lesson, we will begin our adventure and add in some games once we get comfortable on our boards. Keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife on the lake, and if you are feeling up to it test your balance with headstands and other tricks!
