In this workshop kit, you will find information on 10 common money traps that students often fall prey to. In addition to a description of what these "potholes" are, students will also be given the information they need to avoid needing quick fixes in the first place, as well as strategies for solving problems without these quick fixes, should they find themselves in a bind. Catalyst is a program where participants engage in meaningful service and be a spark for change! You and your fellow students will have the opportunity to learn about the social and environmental issues that have an impact on our community, serve alongside community partners in the triad, and reflect on your experiences as a group. Catalyst Days are open to all UNCG students. We have space for 19 participants, and registration is open until spots are filled. This annual event will host the UNCG NASA Spring Powwow in the EUC Cone Ballroom. This event will showcase the ceremonious event of many Indigenous cultures in the Southeast. There will be opportunities to observe dances, visit vendors, and even participate in some dancing in the arena. Local Indigenous vendors (food and crafts) will be there to offer their crafts. Get ready to rally, Spartans! Sports Week at UNC Greensboro is back to ignite campus spirit, foster connections, and celebrate the power of teamwork. From [04/05 - 04/13], students of all backgrounds, skill levels, and interests are invited to join a dynamic series of athletic events designed to unite our community. Each day will spotlight a different sport—think soccer, basketball, Football, marathon, and more—with lively competitions, collaborative challenges, and plenty of opportunities to cheer on your peers. This year, we’re teaming up with student organizations across campus to co-host and co-create these events, ensuring fresh energy, diverse perspectives, and maximum fun. Sports Week will blend friendly competition with creativity, inclusivity, and Spartan pride. Everyone is Welcome! No prior experience? No problem! Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, a casual player, or just looking to try something new, Sports Week is for YOU. Bring your friends, roommates, classmates—anyone eager to laugh, move, and connect. Not into playing? Join as a spectator, volunteer, or hype squad member! We’ll also have roles for student organizations to help manage games, promote events, or design themed activities.
