The Resilience Book Club will be reading What My Bones Know by Stephanie Foo (additional text under consideration: It Didn't Start With You by Mark Wolynn) in the spring semester of 2025. This book club focuses on texts that may offer healing to survivors of violence. In addition to survivors, loved ones of victims/survivors or folx who are interested in learning more about the impacts of trauma and resilience are also welcome! The Resilience Book Club will meet three times during the semester to have a loosely structured discussion around the text, and related activities/resources will be available. What My Bones Know is available through Spotify, Libby, and Audible for audio listening, or a hard copy can be obtained. If you are interested in joining and have questions or accommodation requests, please reach out to CVRC staff Bethany Capps.
