Survivor Space is a peer-based support group for survivors of all forms of interpersonal violence. If you have experienced harm by another person in the past, or you are currently experiencing harm by someone you know, this group is designed for you. Survivor Space uses empowered-choice making and community-based support as tools in a survivor's healing journey. Topics covered in the group can include resilience building, boundary setting, healthy relationships, conflict management, and increasing self-esteem. The topics are driven by participants- we define what healing looks like for us. Drop-ins to this group are welcome. If you have additional questions about Survivor Space, would like to make an accommodations request for this group, or would like to speak with an advocate, please call 336-334-9839 to schedule an intake appointment.

This event will be an event for our Spring 2025 Potential Iota Class! We will first go over what Greek life is, who we are, what Rush is and what MGC is . Once all information is gone over and all questions are answered, we will continue with our speed dating event. This will be an event where we will get a partner for 5 minutes and we will get to know them and once the 5 minutes are up, you will rotate to a new person. Once we’ve done a couple rotations, we will come together and talk about what we learned about one another. This is a great way to meet our sisters and to meet new people. We hope to see you there! <3 Learn more at http://uncg.presence.io/event/kappas-and-the-city-rush-date-night - Jan 298:30 AMEUC Blood Drive -DonorsSpartan Connect Events | EUC-Cone Ballroom
Blood is a perishable product that can only come from volunteer blood donors. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, blood products must be constantly replenished, according to the Red Cross. The short amount of time it takes to donate can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical condition. We urge eligible donors to join us in the selfless act of giving blood. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, B negative and A negative. According to the Red Cross, type O negative is the universal blood type that can be safely transfused to anyone, and is often used to treat trauma patients.
