Join the Omicron Eta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for the Rhoyal Baby Shower, a heartfelt celebration in support of our national program, Project Cradle Care. This event aims to raise awareness about Black maternal health while providing a joyful atmosphere filled with fun, fellowship, and food. We will dive into important discussions surrounding Black maternal health statistics, highlighting the disparities and challenges faced by mothers in our communities. In addition to the informative sessions, we’ll enjoy classic baby shower games. Expect delicious baby shower-themed food!

Make sure to bring baby items as we will be donating baby items to underserved mothers in the area.

When considering health, we often think only in terms of physical and mental health; however true wellness is much broader. A holistic approach to wellness supports the whole person and encompasses eight dimensions. Each dimension contributes to optimal health and well-being, including physical, emotional, social, intellectual, career, cultural, environmental, and financial wellness. This presentation will explore the eight dimensions of wellness, provide an opportunity for you to examine your relationship with each dimension, and discover new ways to support your health and wellness.
