Survivor Space is a peer-based support group for survivors of all forms of interpersonal violence. If you have experienced harm by another person in the past, or you are currently experiencing harm by someone you know, this group is designed for you. Survivor Space uses empowered-choice making and community-based support as tools in a survivor’s healing journey. Topics covered in the group can include resiliency building, boundary setting, healthy relationships, conflict management, and increasing self-esteem. The topics are driven by participants- we define what healing looks like for us. Drop-ins to this group are welcome. Creative expression through poetry, movement, drawing, collage and other forms of art to support healing and processing of various types of traumas.  This group offers creative coping skills, exploration of self and provides an alternative way to process trauma while supporting individual and collective healing.   No artistic experience necessary, we are working with the process not the outcome in this space.
