UNCG | Find your way here: Ana Mena
Ana Mena’s first foray into the fashion industry began at the age of six, when she dressed her dolls in custom clothing. The UNC Greensboro junior, a native of Mexico and raised in Winston-Salem, works with UNCG apparel and product design professors to realize her dream of building a sustainable textile company that employs North Carolinians in need. “If you think about what you want to do and set your mind to it, you will find your purpose,” she says. “And you’ll be able to do that at UNC Greensboro.” Ana is ever closer to achieving her goal, one stitch at a time. #UNCGWayWatch more UNCG stories: https://uncgstories.uncg.edu

As a first-generation student, navigating college was intimidating at first. But she credits the wide array of campus organizations for helping her find her place at UNCG. Now, she helps others do the same as an RA and as president of 1st G – a campus group for other first-gen students. #UNCGWayWatch more UNCG stories: uncgstories.uncg.eduFollow UNCG on social: Twitter: https://twitter.com/UNCG Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/uncg1891/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/uncg/ Web: http://www.uncg.edu/
