Back when UNCG was an all women’s institution, this is where all of the students would sleep, eat, and go to class. Obviously, UNCG has expanded the campus just a little bit, so the Foust building is no longer used as a residence hall.
The IPC is comprised of Study Abroad and Exchanges and International Admissions and Retention, while also housing the Global Engagement Office (responsible for UNCG’s Quality Enhancement Plan). The office also serves as the liaison for the INTERLINK Language Center and is the central administration unit for the UNC International Recruiting Consortium.
UNCG offers study abroad to six out of the seven continents. Students do not go to Antarctica, it's a little too cold.
The International Festival (I-Fest) is an annual celebration that promotes cultural awareness, appreciation and understanding through music, food, crafts, demonstrations and entertainment from all corners of the globe. I-Fest is an event open to the UNCG community and the general public during which anyone can come to experience and learn about the diverse world we live in.
